꧁About Selkie's Curse꧂
Hi, my name is Amaya and I am the artist behind Selkie's Curse. This business started out from a college project where I was exploring the use of lead-free solder as a sculptural medium. From there, my passion for working with metal fused with my love of jewellery.
With my inspiration drawing from medieval times, and alternative fashion, my work often comes across as quite 'aggressive'. I love combining this 'lethality' with feminine aspects as well as utilising materials found on my local coastlines.
I am to push the norms of soldering and create wearable art for all <3
